Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hi Juana,
Regarding your concern, it's correct that dragging and dropping attachments is currently not supported in New Outlook for Windows. This is a known limitation in the current Outlook desktop client.
As a workaround, you can switch back to Classic Outlook by turning off the toggle button in the top-right corner of the window. Or you can consider using Outlook on the web version through https://outlook.office.com. Drag-and-drop to the desktop or file folders works in most browsers.
While I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for, I want to assure you that your feedback is truly valued. If you think this feature should be improved, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook · Community. The product development team doesn't actively monitor this forum, so this is the most effective way to ensure your voice reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.
Once you've submitted your feedback, feel free to share the link here in the comments. I’ll be happy to upvote it to help bring more visibility.
