Microsoft has told me my wife's account has been compromisecd

I have received an email from MS saying my wife's account has been compromised. How do I resolve that?

    Such email cannot be always trusted because it can be a phishing scam.

    Can you wife currently still sign into her account ok?

    If so, have her go to https://account.live.com > Security, check out the sign in activities to see if she can see any abnormal sign in history.

    Is the email from a sender ending in @accountprotection.microsoft.com
