    Hi,

Get help with Windows 10/11 Activation errors:

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/10738/windows-10-get-help-with-activation-errors

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/12440/windows-10-activation

    To better diagnose the issue,

    1. Right-click Start button and Choose Windows Powershell(admin) and type in the following command:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

You will get a window. Take a screenshot and send it in the next reply.

    1. Run the activation troubleshooter and send us the output.

    Hi Chris Gahagan,

I’m just following up to see whether you’ve had a chance to try the steps suggested by the Independent Advisor. How did it go and is the activation issue still happening?

While waiting for those results, could you let me know whether Windows was previously activated on this PC and whether the issue started after reinstalling Windows, replacing the motherboard or having the device repaired? Is this your personal computer or is it managed by a workplace or school?

You can also check that the date, time and time zone are correct. If you’re using a VPN or proxy, temporarily disconnect it and try activating through another connection, such as a mobile hotspot. This can help confirm whether the current network is blocking the activation connection.

If the message specifically mentions your organization’s activation server, the device may need to connect to the organization’s network or be checked by its IT administrator.

Before posting the slmgr.vbs /dlv screenshot, please hide any product key, product ID, email address or device name.

I hope this helps narrow down what’s preventing Windows from activating.
