A family of Microsoft server products that support large-scale implementation management of enterprise application integration processes.
Hi Pappu,If this is a standalone Windows Server 2025 Standard server and you only need to license and activate the current installation, option A should generally be sufficient, provided the 16-core license covers all physical cores in the server. Microsoft requires a minimum of 16 cores to be licensed per server and 8 cores per physical processor.
Option B includes Software Assurance, which provides additional benefits such as version upgrade rights and other licensing benefits. It is not required simply to activate Windows Server 2025.
Also make sure you purchase the correct license through an authorized Microsoft licensing partner and obtain any required Windows Server CALs for users or devices accessing the server.
Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
