Teams crashes after logging in on Pixel Work app

I use Teams in my Work apps on my Pixel 10 phone. After logging in with my work account with MFA using the Microsoft authenticator app, the app signs me out then crashes. If I reopen the app, the cycle repeats after I log in again. I have tried restarting my phone, clearing the cache/app data and uninstalling/reinstalling the app. What can I do? I need to use teams for work.

    Dear @EL,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

Thank you for the detailed description.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please provide the following information?

    • What Android version is your Pixel 10 currently running?
    • Did the issue begin after a recent Android or Pixel update?
    • Does your organization use Microsoft Intune or Company Portal?
    • Are other Microsoft work apps (such as Outlook or OneDrive) working normally in the same Work Profile?
    • Can you successfully sign in to Teams using the same account from another device or from Teams on the web?

In the meantime, I would recommend trying the following:

    1. Check for updates to:
      • Microsoft Teams
      • Microsoft Authenticator
      • Microsoft Intune Company Portal (if installed)
      • Android System WebView
Issues affecting Microsoft apps on Android have previously been linked to compatibility problems with device-management and WebView components.
    2. Open Company Portal (if your organization uses Intune) and verify that:
      • The device is still enrolled.
      • The device is marked as compliant.
      • There are no pending actions or policy-related errors.
Since the sign-in completes before the crash occurs, it is worth confirming that device compliance or enrollment is not interfering with the session.
    3. Remove and re-add the work account/work profile
      • Remove the work account or work profile from the device (following your organization's guidance if the device is managed).
      • Restart the phone.
      • Re-enroll the work profile and sign in again.
This can help if there is a problem with the existing work profile registration, authentication tokens, or device enrollment state.
    4. Test another Microsoft app within the Work Profile (For example, Outlook or OneDrive.)
    5. Verify the account on another device or Teams on the web

If the issue continues after the above checks, I would recommend contacting your IT administrator and asking them to review the device's enrollment status, compliance status, and any Conditional Access policies that apply to mobile devices.

I look forward to your update.

    Warm regards,
