Personal-account Windows publisher can't associate an Entra tenant, so Store submission API and support are both unreachable
Publisher: Natchland. Products: MC Server Manager (9MZR0G9MV20D) and MC Server Manager Lite (9N16SM8CDV4K), both published and live.
My Partner Center account was created with a personal Microsoft account. I want to use the Microsoft Store submission API, which needs an Entra app registration associated with the Partner Center account. Everything on that path refuses a personal account:
- Account settings > Tenants > "Associate Microsoft Entra ID with your Partner Center account" only accepts work credentials, and this account has none.
- "Create a new Microsoft Entra ID tenant" from Partner Center does not complete for this account, and creating one at entra.microsoft.com with the same sign-in is refused as a personal account. The custom-domain route (verifying mcservermanager.com in a new tenant) also stopped working for personal accounts in mid 2026.
- The Partner AI Assistant answers "AI assistant does not offer support for users with Microsoft Accounts currently" and points at Dev Center Support.
- Dev Center Support refuses to open a ticket for this sign-in, saying there is no developer account, even though the account owns two live Store products.
So there is no supported way for a personal-account publisher to reach the API and no supported way to ask about it.
What I'm asking for, in order of preference:
- Associate an Entra tenant with publisher Natchland for me, or lift whatever flag stops this account creating one. I own mcservermanager.com and can add any DNS record you need for verification.
- Or tell me the supported route for a personal-account publisher to get submission API access without creating a second publisher account, since the two listings, their reviews and their ratings have to stay on this one.
A working support ticket route for this account type would help as much as the answer.
