Error code 0x8007054F when moving files in Windows Explorer

Some of the files that I am trying to move in Windows Explorer generate the message: An unexpected error is keeping you from moving this file and Error Code 0x8007054F: An internal error occurred.

    Hi,

    Are you moving files between local folders, to an external drive, or to a network/OneDrive folder? Does this happen with all files or only specific ones?

    Please try copying one affected file to the same destination using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, keeping the original file. Let me know whether copying works or produces the same error. This will help me narrow down the next step.

    Thank you for clarifying. Since over 50 files moved successfully, I suggest testing one of the five affected files directly:

    1. Open Livedrive’s website in Microsoft Edge and download the file to a local folder outside Livedrive.
    2. Check whether the downloaded file opens normally in PowerPoint.
    3. If it does, try uploading that copy to the intended Livedrive folder through the website.

    Keep the original files until you have confirmed the uploaded copies open correctly.

    If downloading or opening fails, please share the exact error message. This will help me narrow down the cause.

    Simply repair system files. Repairing Windows by reinstalling the same version may help. It repairs system files and components while preserving your apps, files, and settings, but I still recommend backing up important data just in case. You can perform the repair using the Microsoft guide below:
