It looks like one of my accounts is already that has a personal account But the weird thing is Azure shows my account as a work account So when I try and join the partner program for the Cloud it is saying that it's signing me out but I need a work account but I can't sign in with my work account so what should I do in this instance or how can I change that old personal account that was under my email to a work account?

Any help appreciated. As I want to do an app registration but cant join the partner network

    Hi Raaj,

The main issue here is that Partner Center requires a Microsoft Entra work account; a personal Microsoft account cannot be converted directly into a work account for Partner Center enrollment. Microsoft specifically advises using an existing work account or selecting Create work account during enrollment, which creates the required Entra tenant.

If the same email address is associated with both personal and work identities, try signing out of all Microsoft sessions or using an InPrivate browser window, then sign in specifically with the Work or school account. If you don't have a suitable work account, create one through the Partner Center enrollment process and use that account to join the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.

Once you are using the correct Entra tenant, you can create and manage your Microsoft Entra app registration there.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
