Cannot reactivate Windows 11 pro after switching from am4 to am5

I just switched out my cpu, motherboard, and ram to an am5 setup and now I cannot reactivate my windows. Before switching, it said my digital license was linked to my microsoft account. If i follow the troubleshooter and say i changed hardware recently, it just says unable to find devices linked to account. I've tried going through all the troubleshooting options and the get help app but none of them work so far. I cant figure out how to speak to a person at support either so im stuck as to what to do.

Did you purchase the digital license separately, or did you get it via a free upgrade from Windows 7, 8, or 8.1?

If you are not running the specific edition of Windows you purchased, that could be why it isn't activating; for example, if you bought Windows Pro but have Windows Home installed, it won't activate, nor will it work with the hardware change activation process.

If you bought the licence separately as a physical product, you need the product key you received with your purchase.

A motherboard change is treated as a significant hardware change, so Windows 11 may no longer activate even if the license was previously linked to a Microsoft account.

Since the Activation troubleshooter already shows no devices linked to the account, the supported next steps are:

Verify activation status and edition:
- Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
- Confirm the installed edition is Windows 11 Pro.
- If the installed edition does not match the license, Windows will not activate.
Try reactivation with a product key if one is available:
- Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation > Change product key.
- Enter the 25-character product key and complete activation.
- If Windows was purchased from the Microsoft online store, the product key record may be available in Microsoft account Order history.
If Windows was reinstalled at any point, make sure the installed edition matches the license:
- For example, a Home license requires reinstalling Windows Home, and a Pro license requires Windows Pro.
