I have been on the "Face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key" screen for THIRTY MINUTES. I just want to play Minecraft.

I called EVERY number fir the United States, but the AI thinks I'm calling about a password reset and is refusing to transfer me to a human.

Now I am LOCKED OUT of my Minecraft world and am being refused service by a dumb robot. Please help me, because I did everything I was supposed to do.

    Hi Piper Blade

Sorry you're dealing with this. If you're stuck indefinitely on the "Face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key" screen, the issue may be with the Microsoft account sign-in/passkey authentication flow rather than Minecraft itself.

A few additional things to try:

    1. Cancel the sign-in process completely and start a new session from the Nintendo Switch.
    2. If you have a phone or PC signed into the same Microsoft account, try signing in there first and confirm you can access your account normally.
    3. Try using "Sign in another way" or another verification method if that option is available.
    4. Try a different network (for example, switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data on the device used for authentication).
    5. Avoid repeatedly retrying the sign-in process, as multiple failed attempts can trigger additional security protections. Cross-device passkey authentication may also require Bluetooth and internet connectivity between devices.

This is a public user-to-user forum. Nobody here can view your account, remove security locks, or transfer a call to a human support agent. If the account verification flow is failing and no alternative sign-in method works, you'll need to continue through Microsoft's account recovery or account support channels.

Can you tell us whether the page is actually frozen, showing an error message, or continuously loading on the "Face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key" screen? That detail may help narrow down the cause.
