I'm trying to record voice in my powerpoint presentation, but I can't find the record button. How can you find it?

    In current PowerPoint, the Record button is usually in one of these places:

    1. Top-right corner of the PowerPoint window near Share and Present in Teams.
    2. On the Record tab in the ribbon.
    3. In older/classic layouts, on Slide Show as Record or Record Slide Show.

    To start recording narration:

    1. Open the slide to start from.
    2. Select Record.
    3. Select the red Record button, wait for the countdown, and start speaking.

    If the Record tab is missing in the classic experience:

    1. Go to File > Options.
    2. Select Customize Ribbon.
    3. Turn on the Recording check box.
    4. Select OK.

    If only audio is needed, recording can also be inserted directly on a slide:

    1. Go to Insert > Audio.

    If you haven't tried it yet, first, in PowerPoint go to "Slide Show" and check if you see "Record Slide Show." You can also check the Ribbon for a "Record" tab.

    If the "Record" tab is missing, go to PowerPoint > Preferences > Ribbon & Toolbar and check whether "Record" can be enabled there.

    To help narrow down the issue:

    1. What version of PowerPoint are you using? Go to PowerPoint > About PowerPoint.
    2. Are you trying to record narration for the whole presentation, or just insert an audio recording on one slide?
    3. What macOS version are you using?
