This error means Microsoft Entra is not receiving the required client_id value during sign-in. In most cases, this points to a problem with the application or its sign-in configuration rather than your account. If the error keeps occurring in the same app, the application administrator should check its Entra app registration and authentication settings.

Error AADSTS900144 occurs because the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) token or authorization endpoint received an HTTP request that doesn't have the mandatory client_id parameter or the parameter was sent in a format the server could'nt parse.

I suggest you some workarounds to fix this issue based on how your request is structured:

Fix Content-Type Headers (For API / Postman Requests): Ensure your HTTP request header explicitly sets Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded. If left blank or set to JSON, Entra ID will not parse body parameters correctly. Verification: Check your network tool's request headers tab to confirm Content-Type is set to application/x-www-form-urlencoded.

Explicitly Append client_id: Ensure your payload string contains the parameter explicitly. For example: client_id=your-app-guid-here&grant_type=authorization_code&... Verification: Inspect the query string in your network debugger before it gets sent out.
