Office Home 2024 included with ASUS ExpertBook P3 is not activating. Word shows Unlicensed Product. Microsoft account only shows Microsoft 365 Basic. OSPP.VBS activation returns error 0xC004F017 License is not installed

I purchased an ASUS laptop that was advertised with Office Home 2024 and Microsoft 365 Basic. Windows 11 is activated with a digital license. However, Word shows “View Only (Unlicensed)” and says Microsoft 365 Basic does not include desktop Word. My Microsoft account only shows Microsoft 365 Basic. I do not have a physical Office product key. Please help me activate the Office Home 2024 license included with my laptop

    Check with the seller (and/or possibly with Asus) which specific Office product was included with your PC. You should also be able to get information on how to install and activate the product.

    Microsoft 365 Basic does not include the desktop apps, only mobile access and OneDrive storage; that is correct.
