Hello, I need fixing of a CODE 19 driver error on my HID drivers. I have ran sfc scan now and DISM as well as tried unistallling drivers and restarting computer. I believe there is a way to fix this with regedit, but I need help.

for anybody out there in the future who’s code 19 is a result of steamxbox.sys you can go into steam app and remove there.

Hi,

Please open admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:

reg query "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class" /f *erfilters* /s

pnputil /enum-devices /problem /ids

Post the output.

Also, post the screenshot of the Device Manager window showing the Code 19 error.

Please do the following:

Create a System Restore Point. Reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/experience/backup-recovery/system-protection

Download fix.reg.txt and save it to the desktop.

Rename fix.reg.txt to fix.reg

Double-click fix.reg. Click Yes when prompted.

Restart Windows.

okay, I found the driver in the steam app and uninstalled it completely, I believe my computer is generally working now. I need help uninstalling the service xusb22.sys and xusb22.inf, which caused the issue with controller drivers that led me to failing the uninstall of the steam controller drivers.

Try the commands I mentioned. If the driver package is not in use, the rundll32 command I posted should clean up the driver.
