I am trying to reinstall Office 365 on my computer (Windows 11). Because the normal installation got stuck on getting things ready, I downloaded the office 365 offline installer.

I run the setup I get the following error. It read in English Something went wrong Error code 30175-45 (2147942402)

I have searched the web about this specific error but all I can find is an answer to a teams login failure.

Is this related?

    Hi @Frank V,

Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I would like to confirm that this does not appear to be related to the Teams sign-in issue you found online. Error code 30175-45 (2147942402) is being generated by the Microsoft 365 installation process rather than by Teams authentication.

Although Microsoft does not appear to have a support article specifically for error 30175-45, similar Office installation errors can occur when antivirus software, firewall or proxy settings, network restrictions, or remnants of a previous Office installation interfere with the installer.

In the meantime, please try the following steps:

    1. Completely remove the existing Office installation Use the Microsoft Office uninstall troubleshooter to remove any remaining or corrupted Office installation components: Uninstall Microsoft 365 or Office from a PC | Microsoft Support Follow the instructions in the article, and then restart your computer before attempting to install Microsoft 365 again. 2. Manually remove Office if the troubleshooter does not work If the uninstall troubleshooter cannot completely remove Office, follow the manual removal steps in this article: Manually uninstall Office | Microsoft Support After completing the removal, restart the computer and run the Microsoft 365 offline installer again.

If the issue continues, please let me know whether this is a Microsoft 365 Personal/Family subscription or a work/school subscription. It would also be helpful if you could provide a screenshot of the complete error message and confirm whether any third-party antivirus or security software is installed.

If I have misunderstood any part of your situation, please feel free to clarify.

Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.
