    Hello,

It appears the hackers removed your email address (alias) from your Microsoft account and replaced it with their own. When this happens, the email address is permanently deleted from the servers. Additionally, if it is a Microsoft Personal domain email address, it cannot be associated with another Microsoft account or recreated.

To help prevent this situation, Microsoft always recommends that account users protect their accounts with a strong Microsoft account password and enable two-factor authentication for added security. That way, even if someone knows your password, they would still need a second verification method, such as a verification code or an authenticator app, to sign in.

Since the account (Email and password) has been changed, you cannot use the standard account recovery form. Instead, contact the Xbox Account Recovery team, which handles compromised account cases. Provide all the required information as accurately as possible before submitting the form.

If the Outlook.com account email address and password were changed, the recommended recovery path is:

    1. Start with the Microsoft sign-in helper and account recovery flow:
    2. Review recent sign-in activity if access is regained:
      • Go to Security basics
      • Select Review activity
      • For any activity that was not legitimate, select This wasn't me or Secure your account.
    3. If the account is recovered, secure it immediately:
      • Run a full malware scan on the PC first: Windows Security > Virus and threat protection > Scan options > Full scan > Scan now.
      • Then change the password.
      • Check Outlook settings for unauthorized changes in connected accounts, forwarding, and automatic replies.
    4. If the account is temporarily blocked because of unusual activity, use the Outlook.com unblock flow:
    5. If self-service recovery does not work, contact Microsoft Support through the official support flow. Support can route the case, but support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or directly change account details.

For suspicious emails related to the account, legitimate Microsoft account security messages come from the @accountprotection.microsoft.com domain. For unusual sign-in alerts specifically, the sender can be ******@accountprotection.microsoft.com.
