Hello Microsoft Support, I am experiencing issues activating my copy of Windows 11 Pro. The troubleshooter indicates that Windows cannot be activated, even though I am connected to the internet. Please assist me in resolving this activation error. Thank you.

Try this activation path for Windows 11 Pro:

    1. Check activation status in Start > Settings > System > Activation.
    2. Make sure the device is connected to the internet. Windows activation requires an internet connection.
    3. Run the Activation troubleshooter:
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot.
      • The Troubleshoot option is available only when Windows is not activated.
      • Sign in with an administrator account before running it.
    4. If the device has a digital license but is not activated, in the troubleshooter select Activate Windows, then select Activate.
    5. If there was a significant hardware change such as a motherboard replacement, use the reactivation flow for hardware changes. A digital license is associated with the device, and major hardware changes can prevent Windows from finding the matching license.
    6. If online activation still fails, use offline activation:
      • Open Command Prompt as administrator.
      • Run SLMGR /dti to get the Installation ID.
      • Go to the Product Activation Portal, submit the Installation ID, and get the Confirmation ID.
      • Back in Command Prompt, run SLMGR /atp <enter your Confirmation ID>.
      • Verify with SLMGR /dli.
    7. If none of these steps work, use Get help with Windows activation errors or contact support.

Note: SLMGR changes activation state. Enter the Confirmation ID exactly as returned, without <, >, hyphens, or spaces.

    1

What happened on your PC before Windows was no longer activated.

    2

Where did you get your Windows licence was that pre-installed on the PC or did you purchase a full retail Windows licence from Microsoft or from a 3rd party retailer?

Or is your Windows licence based on a free upgrade from a previous Windows 7 or 8 licence?

    3

Click your Start Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run or paste this command and hit Enter:

    slmgr.vbs /dlv

Please post a screenshot of the resulting dialog
