word has run into an error so word can't be entered. windows security is telling me to repair but it can't repair. how can i fix word problems and identify the error the word has run

    What does the error message say, specifically? If it suggests that you Repair Now, note that that option often fails.

    Instead, close all Office apps and run an Online Repair from Windows Settings. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/repair-an-office-application .

    Before you start the repair, verify that you can access your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services and that Office is associated with it. That way, you know that you will be able to reinstall Office, which is usually the last step of an Online Repair.
