Hi @Ron Bardal,

It depends on what you currently use Publisher for.

Microsoft Word is generally a good replacement for newsletters, labels, envelopes, and other text-focused publications. Microsoft PowerPoint can be a better option for posters, flyers, banners, and designs that require more flexible positioning of text, images, and other elements.

Publisher will remain available until October 1, 2026. Before then, I recommend converting any important .pub files to PDF so you can continue to view and print them later.

I have never used Publisher but was planning to start using it later this year. So, I cannot answer your question about previous usage.
