Windows 11 Pro 22h2 upgrade to Window's 11 pro 26h1

Currently using Win11 Pro 22H2 desktop w/ Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 SFF with a IQ1X0MS motherboard. Would like to upgrade the processor to work with Windows 11 pro 26H1 or 26H2. If I'm correct this motherboard would support a processor upgrade to CORE i7-6700 (4c 3.4 / 4.0 GHz, 8MB). Would this upgrade work with Windows 11 pro 26H1?

    Even if you upgrade to an i7-6700 processor, it still won't meet the requirements for Windows 11.

    I recommend reverting to Windows 10 and signing up for ESU (Extended Security Updates), which runs until October 12, 2027.

    Keep in mind that using Windows 11 on an incompatible computer can lead to usage issues; Microsoft states that if a computer doesn't meet the requirements, it may stop receiving support and Windows updates.

    Regarding version 26H1, it is limited to ARM processors—specifically systems from manufacturers using an OEM base.

    I'm sorry but your computer can't officially support Windows 11.
    The oldest Intel processor should be of 8th gen.
