Request for explicit site link bridges configuration

Hello,

We have an Active Directory environment with non-fully meshed network links, and disabling "Bridge All Site Links" is isolating our branch DCs from receiving replication updates. However, we are unsure of the next steps. How do we design and configure explicit Site Link Bridges to resolve this issue?

    Hi Leroy Tulen,

    To restore communication, you must create explicit Site Link Bridges that logically connect two or more site links sharing a common hub site.

    To configure this, open the Active Directory Sites and Services console on an administrative machine. Expand the Sites node, navigate down into Inter-Site Transports, right-click the IP directory, and choose New Site Link Bridge. Name the bridge appropriately and select the specific site links that physically and logically intersect at your central routing hub. This manual configuration explicitly authorizes the replication engine to route traffic through the hub to reach the isolated branch domain controllers. Once created, the Knowledge Consistency Checker will recalculate the topology and automatically resume deploying replication updates across the newly defined transitive paths.
