Custom view per folder in New Outlook

In the old version of outlook, I can set a specific view for each folder. For my inbox for example, I can show a reading pane and 1 line of message preview, while my junk folder only shows me the titel and sender without reading pane or preview.

I cannot find any way of configurating the New Outlook in the same way. Is this simply not possible, and if not, is this at the very least planned to be implemented sometime in the future?

    Hello

Currently, New Outlook does not support separate reading pane and message preview settings for each folder. These display settings are applied globally.

Microsoft has not announced a confirmed date for adding this feature. Please submit your request through Help > Feedback in New Outlook. For now, use classic Outlook if you need different views for individual folders.
