Activating MS OFFICE 2024 PROFESSIONAL PLUS

I bought a lifetime licence for the above from STACK SOCIAL (also WINDOWS 11 PRO). I could only activate Excel, and nothing else.

I get a message: 'your installation cannot be activated because you have activated up to the limit of your Multiple Activation key'.

I have only activated Excel, and now cannot work on Outlook, Word or Powerpoint

    Hi Louise,

Based on the error message you provided,"Your installation cannot be activated because you have activated up to the limit of your Multiple Activation Key (MAK)," the product key being used appears to be a volume licensing key that has reached its allowed activation limit. A MAK key has a predefined number of permitted activations, and once that limit is reached, additional Office applications cannot be activated.

    For reference:

Since you mentioned that you purchased the license through STACKSOCIAL and have only been able to activate Excel, I recommend the following steps:

    • Sign in to your Microsoft account and check Services & Subscriptions at: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    • Open Excel and navigate to: File > Account > Product Information. Please verify the exact product name and activation status shown there, and take a screenshot if possible.
    • If the Office product does not appear under your Microsoft account, or if the installed edition is identified as a volume-licensed/MAK version, I recommend contacting STACKSOCIAL directly for a replacement license or refund request.

    You may provide them with:

    • Your order number
    • Proof of purchase
    • A screenshot of the activation error
    • A screenshot of the Product Information page

Unfortunately, activation limits for a volume license key can generally only be managed by the organization that owns the licensing agreement, and Microsoft Support cannot increase the activation count for a reseller-provided key.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know. I will be happy to assist further.

    Kind regards.
