Since your date of birth shows as 12/6/2000, your account should be recognized as an adult. The issue appears to be that your Microsoft account is still assigned as a Member inside a Family group, but there is no visible Organizer available to remove you or change the restrictions.

Microsoft currently states that only a Family Organizer can remove members or manage Family Safety restrictions. If the account is stuck as an adult Member with no accessible Organizer, you may not be able to remove yourself directly.

First, sign in here:

account.microsoft.com/family

and check whether any Organizer is listed.

If you are truly the only person shown in the Family group and there is no Organizer, I would also try refreshing the Family Safety configuration on the affected Windows device:

Win + R → cmd

Then run:

schtasks /run /tn "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefreshTask"

Restart the computer afterward.

Microsoft documents this refresh task specifically for adults who continue to receive Family Safety restrictions.

Also check the parental consent page, because the account may still have an old consent relationship associated with another Microsoft account even if that adult no longer appears in the Family group. Microsoft notes that consent can only be removed by the adult account that originally granted it.

Since Minecraft chat restrictions are tied to Microsoft/Xbox family permissions, I would avoid creating a new account unless absolutely necessary, because that could separate you from purchases, Xbox/Minecraft data, and other account history.

If the family page shows no Organizer and the refresh task does not resolve it, I would contact Microsoft Family Safety support and describe it specifically as:

“Adult account stuck as a Family Member with no Organizer available.”
