Hello,

We have scheduled tasks configured to run under a dedicated domain service account that are failing to execute. They are consistently failing with Error Code 2147943785 (LOGON_TYPE_NOT_GRANTED). However, we need guidance on how to assign the "Logon as a batch job" rights via Group Policy to resolve this issue.

    Navigate precisely through Computer Configuration, Policies, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, and select User Rights Assignment. Double-click the policy named Log on as a batch job on the right pane, define the policy settings, and explicitly add your domain service account to the authorized list. This modification grants the account the correct cryptographic authority to run scheduled tasks in the background. Because Group Policy applies asynchronously, you must log into the affected machine, open an elevated command prompt, and execute gpupdate /force to immediately pull down the new security configuration before re-running the scheduled task.
