    Hi!

This is a known issue for both Microsoft and Apple. First, try following the steps below:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/reconnecting-your-microsoft-365-account-to-apple-mail

If this doesn't help, there may be an incompatibility between your Account and Apple Mail. Users on the Apple forum suggest incompatibility with accounts that have security methods that cannot be supported by Mail.

Since the account works on the phone and in the browser, the issue is likely with Apple Mail on the Mac rather than the mailbox itself.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Re-enter the account credentials in Apple Mail.
      • If Apple Mail prompts for Edit Settings, open it and sign in again.
      • If there is no prompt, open Settings on the Mac and go to Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts, then re-enter the credentials there.
    2. Remove and add the Exchange account again in Apple Mail.
      • Open Settings.
      • Go to Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Exchange.
      • Select Delete Account.
      • Then go back to Apps > Mail > Mail Accounts > Add Account.
      • Choose Microsoft Exchange and sign in with the account again.
    3. If the account is being added in Outlook for Mac instead of Apple Mail, make sure Outlook is not offline.
      • In Outlook, open the Outlook menu.
      • Make sure Work Offline is not checked.
    4. Check whether the Exchange connection shows a problem in Outlook for Mac.
      • On the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
      • Look at the Exchange account status indicator. If it is orange, there is a connection problem.
      • If needed, test the same account in Outlook on the web.
    5. If the issue is only in Outlook for Mac and not Apple Mail, verify the Mac is connected to the network and that the account settings are correct.
      • In Tools > Accounts, select the account and verify the credentials and server details.
      • If the connection indicator is orange, contact the Exchange administrator to confirm server availability.

There is also a known issue where Microsoft 365 accounts can become disconnected from Apple Mail, and re-entering credentials or deleting and re-adding the Exchange account is the documented workaround.
