Old hard drive was failing, running win 11 pro, with activation linked to my account, I added a new hard drive to my computer, installed win 11 pro on the new drive from a boot drive, I can't activate the new version of windows. After running the troubleshooter it tells me that my account is a personal account and I can't sign in to the new win11 pro to activate it.

Hi,
Do you have a retail license, and did you reinstall Windows on that HDD/SSD only to find it isn't activated?
Is it a digital license?
Or
Did the license you have come from a free upgrade from Windows 7 or 8/8.1, or directly from Windows 10 to 11?
Did you try activating it after a hardware change?

Thanks.
