Azure for Students verification fails after academic verification

Hi,

I am a university student in Tunisia trying to activate Azure for Students for university assignments.

I signed up using a personal Microsoft account and provided my university email for academic verification.

I successfully received the Microsoft Academic Verification email and clicked the verification link. However, after clicking the link, Azure displays:

“Unable to complete Azure for Students verification. Please try again shortly or contact us.”

I have already tried:

• Using the same personal Microsoft account
• Signing out of other Microsoft accounts
• Using an InPrivate/Incognito window
• Retrying the verification

The Azure portal itself works, but no subscription is created. Clicking Azure for Students → Start simply takes me back to the Azure for Students page, where I get the same error.

I also tried opening an Azure support request, but the Support Portal gives me an AADSTS16000 error saying that my personal Microsoft account does not exist in the Microsoft Services tenant, so I cannot submit a support ticket.

Has anyone experienced this issue, or can a Microsoft moderator check why the Azure for Students activation is failing after successful academic verification?
