@Karla Williams mentioned, you don't need to buy anything; however, you can set Chrome as the default PDF handler so that files open directly in Chrome.

To do this, right-click on a PDF file > select Properties > under the General tab, look for "Opens With": click Change > select Google Chrome and set it as default > then click Apply and OK.

That's it—Chrome is now set as the primary application for opening PDFs.
