Recently I wanted to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, so I installed it and it showed me this error: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is currently not available on your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. If you need it, the error code is 0x803F8001.

I am 100% certain that I am logged into the right account that owns the game.

If it matters I got the microsoft store edition of GTA: San Andreas in 2016.

    Try these in order:

    1. Open Microsoft Store on the PC and check Library / My library / All owned for the game, then install it from there instead of only using the product page.
    2. Restart the PC. If Windows was recently updated, a restart can be required before Microsoft Store installs work correctly.
    3. Reset the Microsoft Store cache:
      • Press Windows key + R
      • Run wsreset.exe
      • Wait for the blank command window to close and for Microsoft Store to reopen automatically
      • Search for the game again and try installing or launching it
    4. Check these Microsoft Store conditions that can prevent install or launch:
      • the app/game is no longer available in Microsoft Store
      • the app/game is not compatible with the device
      • the app/game is hidden because of family settings
      • the PC is not authorized for Microsoft Store apps, so sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the purchase
    5. If the game still does not work on the new device, check the device list for the Microsoft account. If the maximum of 10 devices is reached, remove one device and try again.
    6. If the issue continues, use Contact Support for a private check of the purchase entitlement and device association.

The error code 0x803F8001 in the provided context is also listed as a licensing error in an Xbox sandbox scenario, but for a Microsoft Store purchase on Windows Home the supported steps in the context are the Store library check, restart, Store reset, device authorization, and support escalation.
