Sharepoint site I have ownership to is denying me access

As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or delve into the backend systems to diagnose and fix this for you. Unfortunately, my role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions that can be applied by users. One quick thing to rule out first: open the site in a private browser window and sign in with your work account only. Access denied errors sometimes come down to the browser using a different signed in account.

Beyond that, this needs your IT admin. The correlation ID is not an error code, it is a tracking identifier that lets them locate the failed request, so pass it on along with the site URL, the date and time, and your exact work username.

Ask them to open Active sites in the SharePoint admin center, select your site, and confirm your current account is listed as a site owner under Membership. If a stale entry for your account is there, removing it and adding your current account back usually resolves it. They can also use Site permissions > Advanced permissions settings > Check Permissions to see exactly what access SharePoint recognizes for your account.

It is worth mentioning that your access requests are not arriving, since those go to the site owner. If you were the owner, that suggests ownership has changed, which fits the sudden loss of access.
