Hi, I hope someone can help me.... I can't sign in to xbox.com; it auto-signs me straight back out, no error or anything.

I can sign in to Microsoft's main website, just not Xbox. The only thing that has changed is my son changed the gamertag this morning.

ive made sure my details in my Microsoft account are correct, and ive tried updating my password, no joy.

Any ideas on how i fix this?

Thanks,

Rhi.

    Hi Rhiannon Cartwright,

Since you're able to sign in to your Microsoft account normally but are being signed out immediately from Xbox.com, the issue may be related to the Xbox web session, browser data, or a profile synchronization change following the recent gamertag update.

    Please try these quick checks:

    1. Open an InPrivate/Incognito window and sign in to Xbox.com.
    2. Clear cookies and cached data specifically for Xbox and Microsoft websites, then try again.
    3. Test signing in from a different browser or another device.
    4. Verify that the Xbox profile and gamertag changes appear correctly when viewing your account details on Microsoft Account.
    5. Check the Xbox service status page to confirm there are no current sign-in or profile-related service issues.

If the behavior continues across multiple browsers and devices, it may be worth contacting Xbox Support directly so they can review the account's Xbox profile status in more detail.

Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
