Does a Multitenant Microsoft Entra App Registration with OpenID Connect for Power Pages Incur Additional Charges?
We currently have a Power Pages site integrated with Power BI Embedded in Microsoft Entra Tenant 1.
For a multitenant POC, we want users from Microsoft Entra Tenant 2 to authenticate to the Power Pages site hosted in Tenant 1 using OpenID Connect. The two tenants may belong to the same organization or to different organizations.
The proposed setup includes:
- A multitenant Microsoft Entra App Registration created in Tenant 1
- Application/Client ID
- Client Secret
- OpenID Connect authentication configured in Power Pages
- Users from Tenant 2 authenticating with their own Microsoft Entra accounts
- An Enterprise Application/Service Principal created in Tenant 2 after consent
Could you please confirm whether creating or using this multitenant App Registration and OpenID Connect authentication setup incurs any additional Azure or Microsoft Entra charges?
I am specifically asking about charges related to the App Registration, Client Secret, OpenID Connect authentication, multitenant configuration, and Enterprise Application/Service Principal.
Please exclude costs related to Power Pages licensing, Power BI/Fabric capacity, and optional Microsoft Entra ID P1/P2 premium features, as those are separate licensing considerations.
