After updating Windows on 9th September 2026, the paste function in Excel 2019 Standard is not working. The issue has occurred for three users, and all are experiencing the same problem. Kindly assist.

    I did all things, and I reinstalled office but same isssue occure.

    As you mentioned that you have already tried everything, may I confirm whether you have gone through all the troubleshooting steps provided in the AI response, including testing Excel in Safe Mode, disabling add-ins, clearing the clipboard, and checking for conflicts with other applications?

    I would also suggest performing an Office Repair if you have not already done so:

    • Close all office apps completely.   
    • Go to Control Panel > Program > Programs and Features

    A known issue has been confirmed by Microsoft in the September 2026 Excel security update. According to the published advisory, paste operations may fail silently in Excel 2016, Excel 2019, Excel 2021, and Excel 2024, which matches the behavior you described where copy appears to succeed but paste does not complete. Microsoft is currently investigating the issue.
