I am requesting a refund for my recent Visual Studio Professional subscription purchase.
I purchased the subscription specifically to access legacy Visual Studio 2015 components required for maintaining my existing native Android projects. The subscription description states that legacy installers are available through Subscriber Downloads. However, the critical component I needed — Visual C++ Tools for Android (VS2015) — is not available in Subscriber Downloads, nor in any official Microsoft archive.
Without this component, Visual Studio 2015 cannot build Android projects, and the subscription does not provide the functionality I paid for. After extensive troubleshooting and verification, it is clear that the required legacy installer is no longer provided by Microsoft.
Because the subscription did not deliver the advertised legacy content needed for my work, I am requesting a full refund.
