Please advise how to stop security warning in office 2024 or enable macro. The Microsoft advice cannot help

    When you open the file, do you see the “SECURITY RISK – Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted” message shown in the screenshot below?A screenshot of a security risk banner indicating that Microsoft blocked macros from running because the source of the file is untrusted.

    If not, could you please provide a screenshot of the warning you are seeing? Please make sure to hide or remove any personal or sensitive information before sharing it.

    Also, could you please confirm the following information?

    -Is this an Excel file that you downloaded from the Internet?

    -Is the file saved locally on your computer, or is it stored on a network/shared drive?

    -What Office version and build are you currently using? You can find this information by going to File > Account > About Excel.

    As you mentioned, you have already tried the steps suggested by the AI answer, including changing the Macro Settings in Trust Center, but the Security Risk warning still appears.

    In the meantime, you can try the following steps:

    1. Unblock the file in Windows Properties
