An application or feature powered by Windows Copilot to assist users with tasks and productivity
Try this in order:
- Reset the Copilot app
- Open Start and search for Copilot.
- Right-click Copilot and select App settings.
- In the Reset section, select Reset.
- Then open Copilot again and check whether it starts normally.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
- On Windows 11: open Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Search for Copilot.
- Select … next to the app, then select Uninstall.
- Reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.
- Confirm the app source
- On new Windows 11 PCs, the Copilot app is usually installed by default.
- If it was removed or became unavailable, it can be installed again for free from the Microsoft Store.
- If the problem started suddenly after an update
- There is a documented community-reported issue affecting some devices.
- If reset and reinstall do not help, submit feedback from Windows with Windows key + F so the issue can be investigated.
This app is the free Copilot app for Windows, and reinstalling it from Microsoft Store is supported.
