    Hello Dennis and everyone,

This behavior appears to be affecting multiple users, with similar reports posted recently. At this time, there is no confirmed fix for this specific behavior.

As a temporary workaround, try using the web version of Microsoft 365 Copilot directly to see whether you can access Copilot there.

You can also report the issue through the Microsoft 365 Copilot Feedback Portal. Search for a recent report describing the same issue and vote for it or create a new post with the exact message and when it started. This gives the relevant product team more information to review and helps with further investigation.

Since this is a user-to-user support forum, Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

If there are any new updates on this issue, I’ll share them here. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Best regards.

If Copilot shows as blocked, the supported fixes depend on what is being blocked:

    1. If access is blocked by Microsoft Family Safety
      • Open Microsoft Family Safety.
      • Select the family member.
      • Under Apps, features, and games, find Copilot.
      • If it is blocked, select it and choose Unblock app.
      • Also check Web and search or Web safety and remove copilot.microsoft.com from Blocked sites if it was added there.
      • This may need to be repeated for each app, device/platform, and family member.
    2. If Copilot shows a license validation problem
      • Make sure the correct account is signed in on microsoft365.com.
      • If already signed in, try Sign in with a different account if the current account does not have the Copilot license.
      • If using a work or school file, sign in with the work or school account if that organization provides Copilot.
      • If the file is stored in a third-party location, move or copy it to OneDrive or SharePoint before using Copilot with that file.
      • In web apps, enable third-party cookies. In Microsoft Edge:
        1. Open Settings and More > Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
        2. Set Block third-party cookies to Off.
    3. If the Copilot button is missing in Microsoft 365 apps on Mac
      • In any Microsoft 365 app, open the app menu at the top.
      • Select About <app name> > More Info... > Refresh License.
      • Close open documents and restart Microsoft 365 apps.
      • In Word > Preferences > Privacy, make sure Experiences that analyze your content and All connected experiences are turned on.
    4. If Copilot is blocked by an organization admin
      • An admin can block Copilot tenant-wide through Integrated app control. In that case, access is controlled by the organization.
