To install Office 365 on another device, I have outlined the available options in detail:
1/ If your license is linked to a personal Microsoft account
- Please sign in at account.microsoft.com/services using the email address you used for activation.
- Under Services & Subscriptions, you should see your Office or Publisher license. From there, you can download and install the software on your new PC.
- You can also manage or remove existing device installations from this page if you have reached the 5‑device limit.
2/ If your license is linked to a company account
If your subscription was provided by your organization (Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise), please note that Microsoft 365 Business Basic and some web-only licenses do not include desktop Office applications and only provide access to Office on the web.
- So if your license includes desktop apps (for example: Business Standard, Business Premium, or Enterprise plans), you can install Office by signing in to https://portal.office.com.
- Then go to Apps > All apps > Install apps.
-
- If you are unsure about your license type, you may go directly to the Subscriptions page to review your license details at: https://portal.office.com/account
