    Hi, @Chris Jackson

May I know what troubleshooting steps have you already taken?

If you haven't tried anything yet, please start by toggling off all in "Choose what to clear every time you close the browser":

    • Go to Edge settings again by pressing Alt + F keys > Settings > and click on "Privacy, search, and services."
    • Under "Clear browsing data," click on "Choose what to clear every time you close the browser" and toggle off all options.
    • Test the browser once more to see if the problem is resolved.

    Check Sync in Edge Settings:

    • Go to Edge settings again by pressing Alt + F keys > Settings > and click on "Profile > then click Sync.
    • If you see a "Not Syncing" message, click on "Turn On Sync" and confirm to enable sync.
    • Make sure all options, including Passwords, have their toggle activated.

If you're still experiencing sign-in issues, click "Re-Sync now" in the Sync settings. You can also try the "Try another option" to attempt to Reset Sync data from Microsoft servers.

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

This usually happens when Edge is clearing cookies on close, blocking cookies needed for sign-in, using strict tracking prevention, or when the profile has stale credentials.

    Try these checks in order:

    1. Stop Edge from clearing cookies when it closes
      • Open edge://settings/privacy/clearBrowsingData/clearOnClose
      • Turn off Cookies and other site data
      • Restart Edge and test
    2. Make sure sites are allowed to save cookies
      • Open edge://settings/content/cookies
      • Turn on Allow sites to save and read cookie data
      • Check the Block and Clear on close lists and remove affected sites if listed
    3. Temporarily relax tracking prevention
      • Open edge://settings/privacy/trackingPrevention
      • Change Tracking prevention to Basic and test the affected sites
      • If sign-in starts working normally, switch back to Balanced and add the affected sign-in domains to edge://settings/privacy/trackingPreventionExceptions
    4. Clear stale cookies and cached sign-in data
      • Open edge://settings/privacy
      • Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
      • Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
      • Set time range to All time
      • Select Clear now
      • Restart Edge
      • Note: clearing cookies signs out of all websites
    5. Check for profile conflicts
      • Open edge://settings/profiles
      • If multiple profiles are present, sign out of the profile with the problem and sign in again
      • If the issue continues, remove the problematic profile and create a new one
      • Warning: removing a profile deletes local browsing data that is not synced
    6. Clear stored Windows credentials
      • Open Credential Manager in Control Panel
      • Under Windows Credentials and Generic Credentials, remove outdated entries related to MicrosoftAccount or login.microsoftonline.com
      • Restart Edge and test again
    7. Update Edge
      • Open edge://settings/help
      • Let Edge install the latest version, then restart
    8. If this is a work or school device, check policy restrictions
      • Open edge://policy
      • Check whether policies such as BrowserSignin, DefaultCookiesSetting, CookiesBlockedForUrls, or CookiesSessionOnlyForUrls are applied
      • If these policies are restricting sign-in or cookie persistence, the IT administrator must change them

If the problem affects Microsoft 365 sites specifically, also make sure the network can reach these authentication endpoints:
