STOCKHISTORY DATA for 9/8/2026

I have been online with support twice. They have no way of escalating this other than telling me to post a question.

I use Excel 365 for MAC. STOCKHISTORY works fine EXCEPT it will not return stock data for 9/8/2026 which is a full market day. That was yesterday and it should report data but does not. They had me do everything including reinstall Excel, use STOCKHISTORY in a number of various ways and the results are the same....... NO DATA FOR 9/8/26. I think this is a problem with Microsoft NOT LSEG the data provider. I believe LSEG provides data for MarketSurge and they are not having any issues.

    Hello,

    Based on what you described, I don’t think this is an issue with your Excel or your Mac. I actually saw quite a few questions on this same issue today already on the forum.

    I’m not seeing a Microsoft service advisory specifically acknowledging missing this data yet. However, since Sept 8 was the first trading day after the Labor Day, it is possible that the end-of-day data for that date was not processed correctly or has been delayed.

    This appears to be something Microsoft/LSEG will need to correct on the service side.

    It is good that you have sent in Feedback. Microsoft doesn't necessarily reply to feedback, but feedback will help them discover issues.
