last two digits of product key damaged during scratching

the last 2 digits of product key on Microsoft 365 personal 12 month subscription card are damaged while scratching. i can provide 23 letters of product key and purchase receipt as a proof. How i can resolve the issue and install MS Office?

Unfortunately, there isn't a reliable way to determine the missing two characters from the remaining 23 characters of the product key.

The good news is that Microsoft specifically provides a support path for damaged product keys. Since you still have the Microsoft 365 subscription card and a valid purchase receipt, Microsoft Support may be able to replace the damaged key or provide another activation option after verifying your proof of purchase.

I recommend keeping:

• The original Microsoft 365 card and packaging • Your purchase receipt/invoice • A clear photo showing the damaged product key • The retailer and purchase date

Then contact Microsoft Support and select Microsoft 365 → Activation/Product Key assistance.

Also, please do not post the remaining 23 characters of your product key publicly here. Even an incomplete product key should be treated as sensitive information.

Once the subscription is successfully redeemed, it will be associated with your Microsoft account and you normally won't need the physical product key again to reinstall Microsoft 365.
