When I attempt to log into Microsoft Outlook via Edge, I receive an error message for Mail, with the error source NoBootJs. Therefore I am unable to open Microsoft Outlook on edge. I am able to MS Outlook on Chrome, so I am assuming it is related to the above source. Please advise regarding how to correct this issue.

Error message is as follows:

    Hi @Valerie Wilson

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

I understand how frustrating it is when Outlook works in Chrome but fails to load in Microsoft Edge.

Since the issue occurs only in Edge, it is likely related to the browser rather than your mailbox settings. Please try the following:

    • Open Outlook in an InPrivate window in Edge.
    • Go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > JavaScript and make sure Allowed (recommended) is enabled.
    • Clear the cookies and cached files for Outlook, then restart Edge.
    • Temporarily disable any ad-blocking or privacy extensions.
    • Go to Edge Settings > About Microsoft Edge and install any available updates.

If the issue continues, repair Edge through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Edge > Modify > Repair. You can continue using Chrome as a temporary workaround.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
