Hi @Brian Lurie

You can follow the steps below to remove an account from New Outlook.

  1. Select Settings (gear icon) > Accounts > Your accounts.
  2. Select the Microsoft account and choose Remove.
  3. Close Outlook.

If Outlook continues to detect or sign in with the old Microsoft 365 account after it has been removed from Outlook, please check for stored credentials. Only do this if you have trouble adding your email in New Outlook.

  1. Close Outlook.
  2. Open Credential Manager.
  3. Select Windows Credentials.
  4. Look for credentials related to:
    • Office
    • Outlook
    • Microsoft 365
    • AzureAD
    • ADAL
    • MSOID
    • The affected email address
  5. Remove any entries associated with the old Microsoft account.
  6. Restart the computer and try adding the Google account again.

I hope this helps.
