deleting or moving emails in outlook does not delete or move them in Gmail.

    Thanks for updating me.

On Gmail, select a recent message and mark it as unread. Wait a few minutes and check whether it becomes unread in Outlook.

In Outlook, move a different message to another folder, then check Gmail

When checking Gmail, please note that Gmail uses labels rather than traditional folders. A moved message may still appear under All Mail. If the message is removed from Inbox and appears under the destination label, the move synchronized correctly.

If neither test synchronizes, update New Outlook from Microsoft Store > Downloads > Get updates > Close and reopen Outlook > Confirm that all important messages, drafts, and calendar items are available on Gmail.com.

In Outlook, open Settings > Accounts > Your accounts >Select Manage beside the Gmail account and remove it from this device > Restart Outlook and add the account again using Sign in with Google > Accept all requested Gmail permissions.

Please keep me posted if the issue persists.

    Hi,

I’m Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

Are you using the new Outlook for Windows?

Was the Gmail account added using “Sign in with Google”?

Do changes made in Gmail sync back to Outlook?

Also, check Gmail’s Trash and All Mail folders, because Outlook may be archiving messages instead of deleting them.

If the problem continues, make sure all messages are available at Gmail.com, then remove and re-add the Gmail account in Outlook through Settings > Accounts > Email accounts.
