I have a Microsoft personal plan, copilot used to work on Microsoft Outlook (New) and since last few days the copilot option is missing and I have tried multiple ways of removing account, re-install the app but still the copilot is missing. I also see that it is same with my iPhone outlook app, the copilot is missing or greyed out. If I use "Outlook on the web" then I can see the copilot button, so definitely it's not an issue with my subscription and also find copilot in M365 apps.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Outlook app on my mobile phone solved the problem.

Copilot now works better than ever on my mobile phone as well.

    Welcome Ajay Talluri,

Thank you for providing the details. Since Copilot is still available in Outlook on the web, your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription appears to be recognized correctly. I'd like to gather a bit more information before narrowing down the cause.

    Could you please confirm:

    • In Outlook (New) for Windows, are you signed in with the exact same Microsoft account that shows Copilot in Outlook on the web?
    • What version of Outlook (New) is installed? You can check this under Settings > General > About Outlook
    • When the issue started, were there any recent Outlook, Windows, or iPhone app updates?

In the meantime, please try these quick checks:

    • In Outlook (New), go to Settings > Accounts > Email accounts, select your account, and verify that it is shown as a Microsoft personal account and not disconnected or requiring re-authentication.
    • Sign out of Outlook (New), close Outlook completely, then open Windows Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts. Under Accounts used by other apps, remove the affected Microsoft account if it appears there, restart Windows, and then sign back into Outlook.

Since the issue is occurring on both Outlook for Windows and Outlook for iPhone while Outlook on the web continues to work, the information above will help determine whether this is related to account synchronization within the Outlook apps rather than the subscription itself.

I look forward to your update.
