If the LinkedIn Premium activation email was not received, the supported next steps are:
- Wait up to 7 days from the Microsoft 365 student activation date for the registration or activation email to arrive.
- Check all mail locations again, including Inbox, Spam/Junk, Promotions, and Other/Focused inbox.
- Use a desktop browser to check the Microsoft account email used for the Microsoft 365 student subscription.
- If more than 7 days have passed, contact Microsoft Support so the benefit can be investigated and the activation link can be re-sent or escalated.
- Go to Contact Microsoft 365 Support
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the subscription
- Search for:
LinkedIn Premium not received - Select Contact Support
- Choose Microsoft 365 and Office and a subscription or billing-related category
Useful details to provide to support:
- Microsoft 365 student subscription is active
- Student verification was completed
- LinkedIn Premium activation email was never received
- Spam/Junk and other folders were already checked
The available guidance does not provide a way to investigate or activate the LinkedIn offer directly from here. After the 7-day window, support is the documented path.
