If classic Outlook is only showing the last 90 days, increase the local sync window so older mail is downloaded:

    1. Open classic Outlook.
    2. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    3. On the Email tab, select the account.
    4. Select Change.
    5. Move Download email for the past: to a longer period or all the way to All.
    6. Select Next > Done.
    7. Restart Outlook.

If older messages were archived, also check the Archive folder. In classic Outlook, AutoArchive can move older items to an archive file automatically. AutoArchive is configured under File > Options > Advanced > AutoArchive Settings.

    Important:

    • AutoArchive is not available in new Outlook for Windows.
    • Archive and AutoArchive might not be available if the profile connects to Exchange Server, and an organization retention policy can override AutoArchive.
    • In classic Outlook search, older items may not appear in search if they are outside the current sync range until more mail is downloaded locally.

    Hello Higgins, Timothy D. {PEP},

Just to clarify, are you using Outlook.com in a web browser, or the new Outlook app for Windows?

I ask because new Outlook has an offline setting that can limit locally saved email to 7, 30, 90, or 180 days.

If you are using new Outlook, please check:

Settings > General > Offline > Days of email to save

If you are actually using Outlook.com in a browser, could you confirm whether emails older than 90 days are completely missing, or whether you simply cannot find them through the current view/search?

That distinction should help narrow down where the limitation is coming from.
