Did you not realize that the Copilot answer references

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Was running Windows 26H2 26300.9278 when I noticed today that Point in Time had not created any snapshots since I upgraded to 26H2. After asking AI about it it said it was a known issue and that I should uninstall that update.
So after uninstalling that update and after the reboot procedure I found myself back on Windows 24H2 26100.1 . Odd since I was running 25H2 before going to 26H2.
Checking Windows Update it was then offering 26100.9278 so I downloaded that and after the reboot procedure using Winver, I found it had actually installed 26300.9278 instead of the 26100 it said it was going to do. Oh and even the installed update showed it had installed 26100.9278
Has anyone else seen this or perhaps know why it said it was installing 26100.9278 while it was actually installing 26300.9278 ?
one thing I didn't do after the initial uninstall of that KB was clean up my drive. perhaps that is why
