If you failed the exam, you will not receive a certificate for that attempt. However, you should still be able to access the exam Score Report.

That is the report that shows your overall result and the performance breakdown by the different skill areas/topics of the exam, usually displayed as bars.

    To find it:

Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the same account you used for the exam.

    Open your Credentials profile.

Go to the Pearson VUE exam provider section/dashboard.

Look for the exam attempt and select View Score Report.

The score report does not show the exact questions you answered incorrectly, but it does show which skill areas were stronger or weaker so you can focus your preparation for the retake.

Microsoft does not provide a copy of the actual exam questions after the test.

A failed exam does not produce a certificate. Certificates appear only after the required exam or final exam is passed.

If the GitHub Copilot result was a pass and the credential is still missing:

    1. Wait 24–48 hours for the result to appear on the Microsoft Learn profile.
    2. Verify the correct Learn profile is being used. If multiple Microsoft accounts exist, sign in with each account that might have been used during exam registration.
    3. Check the Certification Dashboard and use View Certificates or View Transcript.
    4. If the credential still does not appear, contact Microsoft Credentials Support.

    Also note:

    • If the certification requires more than one exam, the certificate is not available until the final required exam is passed.
    • Exams and certifications earned through Certiport are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile.
